What Our 5th Graders are Reading and Recommending

This year I read the book Eragon by Christopher Paolini. This is a fascinating book about a boy named Eragon. He is the best hunter in his town. One day while he was in the mountains chasing deer, he finds a mystical object that turns the rest of his life into a creature-filled flying adventure. The book Eragon is a lot better than the movie because the details are better and you can understand the story better. If you like the movie, you’ll love the book! The next time you don’t know which book to take out from the library, search for the author Christopher Paolini and take out Eragon or the other books in the series, Eldest and Brisinger.
