Mr. Johnson Visits Beijing and Jinan

I was escorted throughout Jinan and visited four primary schools. I was going to be given the opportunity to choose our sister school. All of the schools possessed admirable qualities, but I fell in love with Nanshangshan Primary School the moment I walked onto their school grounds. I was taken aback by the  kindness of their talented students, the welcoming and generous spirit of their staff members, and the effort and pride put into their student work. I knew that this was our perfect match. We have a student organization at each school. Nanshangshan has its Sunshine Association and Oakdale School has its Friendship Club. These clubs present the opportunity for students to communicate with each other, and to exchange projects. We are working on teacher exchanges, and Principal Wang is planning another visit in the fall of 2010.
